Welcome

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New York State and a psychoanalyst. I have particular experience working with creative individuals and specialized training in the treatment of trauma and addictive behaviors. I have worked with many intelligent and creative people from all walks of life. Together we seek to better understand the nature of their difficulties, find relief from harmful repetitive patterns, and ultimately create a more fulfilling life.

I earned a B.A. in psychology from Lewis & Clark College, a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and I am a graduate of the psychoanalytic training program at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (NYPSI). I currently serve as Vice President of NYPSI’s Board of Directors, am on faculty, teaching early childhood development, and supervise the psychotherapy work of graduate students in the clinical psychology Ph.D. program at The City College of New York.
